I'm sorry, I just don't see that "INPRISE" is a hell of a lot worse than "BORLAND". The only difference is we've known one for years, and the other one is new. Although today, it seems a little silly, six months from now it'll just be another meaningless name -- not unline Lucent or Novell or -- Microsoft.

I admit, when I first dealt with Microsoft, I thought, "What a crappy name". Micro. Soft. Why not something like, "Digital Research"? Or my personal favorite, "UNIVAC". Sounds like a damned carpet cleaner. Point is, these names mean nothing but the product lines they become.
