Re "Don't you have to convince someone in Mexico you need the drug...like the Pharmacist?" - well, yes, in some cases, legally you do, depends on the drug. But if you know somebody, and say it the right way and present the pesos, you can get anything you want. Many drugs that are prescription only in the US are over the counter in M‚xico, anyway. One way to look at it - the doctor lobby has less power.

Mind you, I am from the south, and am not familiar with the border areas.
