Michael, you know I would sing almost anything because I am so relieved we are getting along better than we used to, but do you have a nice rock-and-roll song instead of "My Country Tis of Thee?"

I am not really trying to divide America into classes, however. I think that has already happened, and am wondering how we can have everyone get along better together.

And I do believe that as long as there are Americans who are not able to benefit from our prosperity because they are very damaged--like most of the American Indians, and the blacks who have not made it out of poverty--we all should pitch in and help them in a constructive way. Even though some of us came to America very late, and most of us have ancestors who committed no atrocities at all, since we all live in America now, and benefit from that, I think it should be a communal effort. I totally admit there is very much disagreement on all these subjects, however.
