Denis -- everyone -- take a powder dammit!
Get the results, do it right and publish it, for good or bad, but don't do it half way and say it dry
What does this really mean? Me thinks it means "If its not going to make the stock go up don't put it out." Well, Denis, it doesn't always work that way.
As someone skillfully pointed out this morning, these three pipes were the last three announced before the company ceased drilling owing to environmental factors. The collection methods may have been hasty, but, after all, these were just initial RC samples. As for the decision to release them -- give the people the facts, and let them decide what it means.
I mean, for someone who has expressed disappointment in the pace of the company's efforts, would you have really preferred them to sit on their hand until Edmonton said they could go back in?
In time, the company's past candor will serve shareholders well, I suspect. When that happens, Denis, you and I can recall this dialogue in the comfort of southern climes. |
