C, How old are you or maybe you never spent much time listening to a republican president give speeches. Bush made quite a few speeches about his vision for a new world order. He was a staunch UN supporter (and for good reason). He quit with the speeches after his poll numbers started to drop. Nobody was buying it and he was very disappointed. The thread starts a long time ago and it would take an open mind and a lot of research (reading) to understand it all. The UN was attempted after WWI as the League of Nations during the Wilson administration. Wilson was highly influenced by a Colonel House who was in his administration. House was affiliated with the Council on Foriegn Relations, an organization started by the Rockefellers and that was headed by David Rockefeller most of my life. The Rockefellers donated the land the UN was built on and have pushed it all along. Well the League of Nations failed of course and was re-attempted as UNO (United Nations Organization) after the 2nd WW. This one succeeded and was very popular until the 70's. Since then the UN has been looked at with increasing suspicion. From the CFR (Council on Foriegn Relations) have sprung most of our leaders of this century all with a goal of a new world order which is the vision and purpose of the CFR. George Bush was the highest ranking official of the CFR to ever be in government. He was also a member of the Tri-Lateral commission which is an off shoot of the CFR and was formed to bring in the Asian community which the CFR had excluded (back at the turn of the century they were not players in world affairs). Most of our government officials have close ties with CFR and TLC. In fact the gov. is dominated by them as is the mainstream news media and so on. It's a great way to advance your career, join up, promote their cause (after all it sounds good to them having been educated in liberal Universities). It goes on and on, hundreds of treaties made by the senate with the UN that contradict our constitutional rights and freedoms. The CFR has put much effort into discrediting the oppostion and making them seem kooky for believing anything so far fetched. And often with the oppositions help. But they use more drastic tactics also. Did you knoe the Congressman Donaldson who was killed when the Russians shot down that air liner when Reagan was president was also the president of the John Birch Society? The foe of the new world order. He was trying to get an investigation started into the activities of the CFR in governement. POOF, gone. They have, of course, villified the JBS also and anyone who even mentions it is a kook already. I am not a member, I only look for information without considering the source first so I'm not prejudiced from the start. Well gotta go. Bob
