RE:Some company announces a name change, and the price of the stock goes banana! I think people were expecting more than a name change to be announced. However the key to all this commotion is that it gets the word out to the financial community that this is not our father's Borland!!! It kind of is relatively cheap publicity or near term branding... Or to approach this from a different angle, imagine if we one day did do your 50 mil. in revenues. If a name change can cause fruity mayhem imagine what positive financial results would do - $$$$. Itchy fingers... Actually it is good to some extent that people debate the name ad nauseum, I guess it shows some interest (or perhaps showed some interest - they may be gone after today!) And before anyone buys a story (Inprise or whatever) they first have to be interested. So not nec. a bad thing... Shane.
