ATLANTA, Nov. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Cybernetic Services, Inc., (CSI)
(OTC-BB: CSIX) announced today an agreement with Network International and the
Louisiana Superdome to supply the hardware, software and services for CSI's
new Video and Text Messaging product, a sports and news information service.
The contract is structured as a combination of base compensation plus a
percentage of the advertising revenue generated from the venture, which is
estimated to total over $50,000.
CSI's Video and Text Messaging product is to be broadcast over the
existing Superdome network of video displays. Using breakthrough patented
technology, known as the SRIII, the service enables subscribers to select
specific categories of information out of the up-to-date news stories written
by CSI's award-winning, seasoned team of journalists. Depending upon the
venue, the product can be used to combine reports and advertisements with
selected newsbriefs, thereby creatively communicating with patrons and
employees.
The Louisiana Superdome, home of the New Orleans Saints, is a multi-event
facility that houses concerts; business conventions; a variety of
professional, collegiate and high school sports events including the Super
Bowl, Sugar Bowl and NBA exhibitions; as well as family events such as ice,
auto and boat shows, and the circus. This contract is expected to
significantly increase the exposure of CSI's products to the marketplace; over
2 million spectators visit the facility every year, approximately 20 percent
of which are corporate attendees.
Mr. Pat Streko, Director of Sales -- South Region for the advertising and
sponsorship sales representative of the Louisiana Superdome facility, Network
International, stated, "We have chosen Cybernetic Services as the provider of
this service to the Superdome because CSI offers the most comprehensive
information for our needs. With a wide array of events at our facility, the
Video and Text Messaging service enables us to easily download the specific
information of interest to our spectators; from business, entertainment, news,
sports and beyond. We believe that the additional amenities provided by this
product will enhance our patrons' experience at the Superdome."
"The agreement with Network International is especially exciting since
Super Bowl XXXI will be held at the Louisiana Superdome," stated Neil S.
Kohrn, Office of the Chairman and CEO of Cybernetic Services. "Large arenas
such as this one are ideal for advertisers because the captive audience base
may be directly targeted. The Louisiana Superdome will be the first in many
athletic venues that we hope to install."
