Jim,

Apple seems to figure out how to sell low-end Mac to increase their
market share in Q4 or Q1 of '99 based on voices from the president of
Apple Japan. I can accept the sub-$1000 low-end Mac. For $500
Mac, I don't know if it's going to be popular, which is Oracle's
concept. I hate to see we are going back to mainframe's centralized
age.

I shy away from options as my investing rules too. For a trivial amount
I could afford to lose, I wouldn't mind buying options just for fun.
I certainly believe investing long-term on Apple's stock will make a
small fortune particularly in '98 and '99. I appreciate Linda and
David's advice, but I really have no much time on tracking those
options. My job is still on software development for DoD.
