The place where I work had a van in which the a/c compressor pegged out. Chevrolet dealer replaced compressor and refilled system with r-12. Cost for the 3 pound fillup of freon was $100. These GM dealers have A LOT of this stuff in storage. They told me they had plenty. Let's hope there is more promise in the stationary market.
