I bought some more SMSC late today. There was no news to account for the sharp decline. Best Buy announced 15% lower same store sales, bad for the PC business. Hard to believe that could clobber SMSC.

I was told when the stock cracked in 1994 that there was a very angry, very large, shareholder who wanted the company sold.

It will be interesting to see who was buying when the SEC filings are done. Sadly, the filings for this latest decline aren't due until Dec.10.

How about 60% of book, and 35% of sales?
