Under the new rules, the hall would have to have a point of sale, master unit and communications capability that would stay on-site. The Texas Lottery Commission must be able to access, via modem, the system and files at any time. The actual player units will be allowed to be utilized at multiple locations. The target location will most likely be a multiple use facility, such as a church or lodge, that uses the space for dinners, dances, etc. The handheld player units will be picked up and delivered to the next facility and so forth. The key will be to get three or four locations in close proximity that play a cooperative schedule.

It should be a good opportunity for all electronic bingo vendors.
