Its not that simple.... DATEK is based on the ISLD.... All the ISLD trades happen in the same book...Josh's Book.
This BTW is how they make money, if two people, both on the ISLD, trade shares, its still in the same book, and the costs are very low. I believe they actually lose money if you trade outside the book, but if 85% of the trades are within the book, they make money...

Back to the issue, if there are ISLD (Long) shares in a margin Account then you can be sure the ISLD has shares to borrow.
