Mike, Yeah, I think he starred in MASH and married Barbra Streisand. <G> Yes, I have heard of Gould. He was hot for a while. I don't know what knocked him off his hot streak, but something gets every technician eventually. I don't know much more about him than that. I know he was hawking a service in ads in Barron's and other financial rags, and I think it still exists. My theory on hot pickers or timers. whether technicians or momentum geeks or mutual fund gunslingers or whatever is that with hundreds of thousands of people plying those trades, somebody has to get hot in every period of time. Generally, it is somebody you never heard of before they got hot, so they were of absolutely no use to the general investing public while they were making money for a dozen folks. I don't know if Gould fits that profile or not. MB
