James: I first bought Computone in 1991, survived a reverse split, and hung on and hung on and hung on... I even deleted the symbol from my real time quote system because it seemed never to trade. Then one day I decided to check in on it and nearly fell of my stool-- it was at $4!!!. The next day I called my broker's back room to find out if there had been another reverse split, and by then the stock was at $4 3/4, so I had to move, and bought large quantities @$4 3/4.
According to Daphne Smith, Investor Relations @ CMPT, the interest on Wall Street is because of the Internet Service Providers' (ISP) response to the Power Rack, which Daphne says move out of inventory as fast is it arrives. Lately, CMPT announced that they haveincluded Newcom's (a division of Aura) ISDN modem in the Power Rack v.1.5, and Daphne thinks it will have a strong positive impact on an already strong product line. (Daphne, am I accurate, here?)
Earnings came out today, 3 cents/sh instead of a loss of 3 cents/sh, so I think that the two consecutive Q-Q comparitive increases shows growth worth keeping an eye on. Your thoughts?
