You underestimate the patience of some short sellers.

Sometimes it takes quite a long time for the market to recognize a fraud...and even longer to acknowledge it. Remember Diana Corp.?

Everything about Zonagen smells bad. There is zero evidence that Vasomax works; furthermore, there is compelling evidence that Zonagen has lied and committed fraud in the past, most notably in the Chitosan incident.

This company is a complete scam and time will prove me correct. The stock price can go all over the map in the meantime.
