Ray,

You need to re -read my post, I said anyone who sold Bay cant take a tax loss if they sold Bay at a loss and then re-purchase Bay call options or Bay stock within a 30 day time frame.
My post had nothing to do with who is buying or selling Bay, it was
to correct Eric on his theory that Institutions were selling Bay and buying calls. Institutions buy stock they dont need to deal with options , unless they hedge (usually with index options) or do covered calls. I am not saying that they dont purchase options, I am saying it is a very very small percentage of Institutions that do.
