WAYNE, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 30, 1998--PICK Communications Corp. (OTCBB:PICK - news) announced today that at a recent meeting of the Board of Directors, the Board approved an increase in the number of authorized Directors from seven to eleven.
The Board subsequently elected Dr. Hans d'Orville to the Board of Directors of the Corporation as the sixth member.
Dr. d'Orville, who resides in New York City, holds both a Masters and a Doctorate degree in Economics from the University of Konstanz in Germany. Since 1975, he has served in various capacities in international organizations and diplomacy. His most recent positions include Executive Coordinator of the InterAction Council and Director of the Information Technologies for Development Programme at the United Nations Development Programme. He speaks several languages and is a member of several international committees and boards.
