Anyone notice the huge trades in the WDC and SEG calls today? Who was it that had buddies at WDC who was saying that there were rumors throughout the hallway about an IBM takeover? Someone on here had made such comments previously. I wonder if it has any merit...stock flew off the 18 3/8 level ina wild way. The SEG call action was sufficiently large that my floor broker on AMEX called to suggest it as a play. He had stated that there were some large buyers in teh SEG calls. Given the apparent turn around in the sector, i'd hate to see either company get taken out. They have more upside potential independently. Regards, Steve@yamner.com
