Hi, Spots
What a nice resource you are! But, I'll croak if I start seeing M.B. Trading commercials coming off my printer, especially if they're coming from Austin <g>.
I sure would like to keep things simple. I have two computers, now connected to each other by Win 95 peer-to-peer network, sharing one printer. I intend to get the dedicated frame line for my connection to CyberTrader which is on one PC. I'll probably use the ISDN line for my other PC, which I use mostly to monitor various internet websites for news, trading chat-rooms, AIQ and similar applications. I'd eventually like to have both PC's connected to each other, to the internet via ISDN, and one PC connected to CT via the frame.
Then, if I can do that, I want to enhance the setup a bit by adding a second monitor to one of the two PC's, just to allow me desktop space. Do you, or anyone, know if I could display CyberTrader across two 21-inch monitors to allow viewing more CT windows at the same time? There are so many I'd like to keep track of simultaneously.
I think I'll need to find a local network specialist to help me figure out how to keep both PC's connected together on a local network while at the same time connecting both of them to the internet via the common ISDN line and one of them to CyberTrader via frame relay line. This seems like it's going to be quite interesting for me (maybe more interesting than I really want it to be). Do you think it's even possible to make all the connections and relationships I just mentioned? I think I'll need a router and a hub, words I've seen tossed around lately.
Speaking of interesting, though, don't you think this thread has turned into quite an interesting, enjoyable, and helpful place? I do, thanks to you and a few others. I hope to see many other CyberTrader users and non-users making contributions here like you.
