Art,

I'm not surprised the company has no idea when the judge will act. The federal judiciary is very independent. The judge sets her own schedule, and does not have to take things on a first-in, first out basis. A party can ask her when she intends to get to something, but can't force her to do it. Asking her may anger the judge, and since it doesn't force her to act, why ask? From the company's standpoint you might as well wait her out. Some judges are fast, some slow, some mixed. Some hate patent cases and take a long time with them. Some like patent cases and act fast with them. All we can do is wait.
