Judy, it's high time you got rid of that old 486 pea-shooter and stepped up to a new Deschutes-class 400 MHz screamer. I've got the new HP Pavilion 8290, which was somewhat of an impulse buy. It came with MS Internet Explorer, so I'm trying it out. And I can now use Java applets, which did not work on my 486 with Windows 3.1.

If I'd done my research first I would probably have gotten a Dell or Gateway, which are a little cheaper. They both have something called positional audio, which is pretty cool for gamers.
