Dear Stephen,
"Dear Steve S. It is obvious that you are new to this company"
That is a bit of an assumption on your part, as a matter of fact I have closely followed this company for 2 yrs and have had a substantial position for 1.5 yrs, (not exactly a newcomer). I can understand frustration, but things don't always happen when we think they should.
"Why aren't we moving right now like some of the others?" I would credit a famous saying from Warren Buffet for the answer, "In the short term there is absolutely no correlation between a company's performance and its stock price, but in the long term, there is a 100% correlation". Why were we at $4-5 a few weeks ago?? Has there been that dramatic a change in the company in the last few weeks? Of course not, and there need not be, the short term will always be totally unpredictable no matter how good, or how bad, the company!
I don't consider it sugar coating to make an objective evaluation of products, industry, growth, and long term potential and arrive at a positive conclusion in this case. Some fruit takes 3 years or more to ripen, until some fundamentals change, I think anyone would be making a big mistake to pull up their stake in this company now!
Best Regards, Steve. |
