WAY OFF TOPIC:
Boy, we sure have a lot in common. I played keyboards back in the days where there still were very few electronic instruments (I still remember trading my almost new car for the latest ARP synth - it had TWO note polyphony!!!). Lugging around those goliath sized Hammond organs, and other keyboards nearly gave us all hernias. Besides they cost a large fortune to buy.
I always envied the guitar players becuase for a few hundred bucks they got a premium guitar, a nice amp, and the pick of the groupies. Besides that, it took them all of one minute and not much effort to set up.
I played guitar back then, but just basics. Since then I left the dark side and became a guitar player. Got my Les Paul, my Strat, my Ovation (for the occasional times when Hard Rockin (pun intended) just isn't the right touch. Broke down at xmas and even bought a Gibson double neck (12 over 6) like Jimmy Paige. There is no reason on earth for me to have bought it, BUT IT SURE LOOKS COOL.
Now if we could just get S&R to lighten up and put down a beat....
one, two, one two three, four [insert favorite power barr chord here] [a few pull-ons, hammer offs, and tasty ear-screaching bends]
