Good Observations, Charles... And To Correct Myself...

Ever since you mentioned the connections between
DT and VOCLF, I've been reading up on them. So, thanks.

Now, to correct a misapprehension I communicated
in my rambling--before sandwich--post about NSCP and
SEEK.

Were it so simple a choice between RENTING EYEBALLS
and BUYING THEM, things would be very clear. But,
the very lamentable fact (from NSCP's standpoint) is
that they have in essence served as a business referral
service, referring folks to YHOO, XCIT, LCOS, and SEEK
who then, often apparently, become regular site visitors
and purchasers on these sites.

So, we haven't just rented eyeballs from NSCP. We've
had them "fed" to us--sorry for the ghastly word
pictures--and have, obviously, taken ownership of
quite a few. I wonder about the statistical truth
of that last statement, but the principle is sound...
and certainly has spurred to NSCP to get off its
collective "backgrounds" and try to make their own
site worth lingering within.

Just wanted to clear that up. Hate it when I lay
out stuff that is all-too-flawed...

Best Regards,

c m
