Daytraders' trading data on intraday charts can be a measure of the total liquidity on a certain stock. When activity of trades thin out; the liquidity reduces and the price gyrations occur. Most daytraders therefore watch until 9:45am and wait until 10am before committing to a certain stock to be sure of liquidity or the lack of it for maximum gains.
