In all fairness, you sold your shares (5,000 @ 3 5/8) on April 30, 1997; one year ago (happy anniversary), not two as you have represented in your most recent post.

Additionally, the DJIA was at 7000 when you sold out of MPEG. While yields from DJIA investments made one year ago have surely exceeded those of MPEG investors (drawing distinction between investors and traders), they did not approach 100%. The reality is that most people who play with emerging technology OTCBB companies in start-up mode do not consider the DJIA as the benchmark for gauging opportunity cost.

I have been reading this board since November 1996 and have seen many people reinvent themselves and their histories for some unknown purpose. That is fine with me, but for those who are trying to decide for themselves whether or not MPEG has investment merit, it is a disservice. Try to remember that while the fact that this thread has well over 5,000 posts (with no discernable distribution pattern) to sift through presents some logistical problems, the truth is out there.

By the way, what REALLY happened to Art Sidransky after his fateful trip to InnovaCom? I can't quite piece it together yet but I know his sudden disappearance has to have some significance. ;-)
