Don...I believe the Intuit announcement prior to the BOD meeting was a staged event with Jobs orchestrating. It's been mentioned that Jobs and Campbell are friends, he's a board member plus the AAPL/Intuit relationship has been a long and healthy one. Why would Campbell not tell Jobs/AAPL in advance of his intentions to drop Quicken for AAPL? As a friend of Jobs, AAPL board member (in lieu their business relationship), Campbell would not have gone public without their knowledge. If we assume he did and Jobs/AAPL knew in advance, why not remedy the situation before the announcement behind closed doors? Surely they new the fallout. Someone mentioned Intuit would be in a better negotiating position making it public? I don't think so. I agree with Jim re Intuit fiasco having a possible effect on AAPL price, but a minor effect at that. I believe the stock value is being held down with a greater purpose in mind, and Jobs is still conducting the concert. Just my 2›... Cheers, Dennis
