" I have to visit Petsmart this weekend to purchase somethings. I'll ask for the manager & tell them they should on carry one brand of scoopable cat litter. Then I'll go to the grocery store and tell the manager they should on carry one brand of ice cream. Get the point!!!"
Nope, I don't get the point, because I think you missed my point.
From PennyStock.Com "Soon to be sold under the brand name "Paws Only", it is a 100 % natural wood-based kitty litter made from waste pine and is therefore environmentally friendly. Paws Only is dust-free, does not track, and is healthier for cats. The litter is more absorbent and less costly to use than the traditional clay and kaolin based products. It is even flushable, except in septic tanks, and contains no chemicals or additives."
1. Retail shelf space in stores like petsmart and grocery stores is limited and retailers usually allocate space to products that sell well.
2. The vast majority of litter sold is still clay, scoopable and non.
3. There are other natural products, besides wood, also competing for space. Many are scoopable and flushable.
4. Petsmart already sells FelinePine, a %100 natural, dust-free, product made from waste pine.
Now, from the above, I am stating my opinion that getting Paws Only into Petsmart is far from a sure thing.
