Can you agree with me that there are only to cosmological possibilities? The universe is self creating, or someone / something designed it. There are very good evidences of design in all forms of life. The idea that hydrogyen, jupiter, bannana slugs, and humans all have a common ancestor can only be accepted on faith, and I appreciate your admitting this. Both of us have studied origins from the side of science, and this only left me with more questions and few if any answers. May I suggest just a simple study of the other possibility. In the privacy of your own mind, ask G-d as you understand him to show himself to you. This may make you feel foolish but it should not. It the only way to fully examine the question. This will put the ball in G-d's court so to speak. If you ask him to show himself to you, pick up a Bible, and read the book of John. It is a short work and should only take you a few hours if that. I believe that if you are seeking, you will find him. I met him twelve years ago, and it was the most illuminating event in my life. He made himself clear to me and has shown me nothing but love since then. He will do the same for you if you are sincere about finding the truth. Make your search complete, and you will find him.
If you are interested I can suggest some good books on creation, but the most interesting study is the one I have suggested to you.
