I didn't post to impress you with Intel products.
I was simply providing for information Intel's notebook
roadmap for the next couple of years. I'm always a
little worried when someone posts naive information
regarding Intel.

And I get a little worried when someone posts naive information
regarding Apple.

Recall that you wrote in February:

"Not that the PowerPC will ever gain much more market

(that's nice) but this at least gives
us an idea of what the future holds. The G3 300 is about
equivalent to the PII 333.

Well, according to Herb Bethoney at PCWeek, the 300MHz G3 delivers considerably better performance than a systems using Intel's 400MHz Pentium II. Not equivalent, mind you -- better.

The battle won't be won by creating faster computers
than Intel.

Intel better pray that's true.
