Dear Mr Yocam.

Just as Borland and Apple Computers had or has a superior (and total package) product to Microsoft so may Borland/Inprise have to IBM or ORCL. But as you know Borland and Apple were both out marketed and out smarted by Microsoft.

Please do not let this happen to Inprise you seem to be marketing the server and middleware products (consulting and product) in a total package as Apple did back in the early 80's. This worked for awhile but look what happened.

If you would be so kind to explain to this thread -in layman terms, why you feel this strategy will not be out flanked again?

Here's hoping Inprise will be slapped with a FTC monopoly suit some day.
