It's beyond dumb Perhaps.... Clinton surrounds himself with only folks that are as dirty as he is, crooks of a feather flock together. Tht offers at least two advantages, 1) they will go along with any plan Clinton has to make money get power etc. 2) they will not run for the tall grass when the going gets rough cause they have as much to loose as does Clinton. 3) Clinton knows he has more dirt on his friends than they have on them and he can activate one or a number of trap doors to drop them into oblivion. They can't fight cause they have too many demons running around in their closet to ever expect immunity. Seems a reasonable means of keeping people quiet, look at Ms mcdougal, won't talk to get herself out of prison, why? cause she knows she would get flushed down the system never to be seen again if she did and the wieght of her own problems would see to that. Same with Hubb and any others, cept Dave hale perhaps...he's still out there like an ace in the hole for Starr...maybe.
