Hi Ken and all:

This doesn't surprise me on the short position. Shorts are always going to be around. I'm the world's worst person at shorting stocks, but a stock that has had the run that this has is bound to get the attention of those who like to short stocks.

But this is a pretty significant increase over that period of time, I would think. So, in terms of technical analysis, 3/4 is probably going to be a resistance point, I agree. However, that being said, there are times when TA almost goes straight out the window because of fundamentals and news.

Shorts were all over KTEL on its way up...and I personally know some that lost a lot of $$ trying to short it. Perhaps you or someone more savvy with shorting than I can explain that a bit. CNBC and the press picked up on the KTEL story so strongly, a recognized name, that I think momentum really kicked in with it and it lasted longer than many realized. Then look at what happened.

Is there something there we can learn from? Maybe or maybe not.

Anyway, thank you for the information. It explains a lot. I also believe that there is some accumulating going on....quietly.

We will see what happens tomorrow.
