640x480 is easily achievable with a first generation Voodoo and a Pentium 200 Mhz or higher.

Generally, you would run a Voodoo 2 at 800x600, but to do it you'd probably need a more powerful FPU, at least a PII-266 or a K6-300.

1024x768 is as far as you can go with one Voodoo 2 card and a 400 MHz PII, and still have sufficient FPS for the game to be playable. But As far as I know, you can increase the performance and possibly resolution, if the game supports it, which I'm not sure it does) even farther by adding a second Voodoo 2 card--but then the limiting factor is the CPU again. Guess we'll have to wait for much more powerful FPUs and newer games to find out the limits of the PCI bus.
