Hi Linda...I have no doubt the Intuit dilemma will be resolved to every ones satisfaction soon, but Jobs elected to let it take place *in public* with a reason in mind. We know the immediate effect it had on AAPL's value and user base was negative at the time of the announcement, with no apparent consequence to Intuit. The recent media speculation, if AAPL in fact does bundle Quicken with G3s, benefits all parties (including Apple users) and will allow AAPL value to gain positive momentum as well as Intuit's. So, Jobs being the very intelligent guy that we know he is, what benefit could AAPL derive from allowing/staging this dilemma in the first place? Cheers, Dennis
