Dennis, And thank you for all the hard work you put in to keep the Yahoo and SI boards informed. Your mention of Ascend being in the running for Level 3 Communications deal was very encouraging. If they win this one, then they will have won all three of the major new next-generation networks (QWEST, Williams, & Level 3). That would be truly impressive. I have a hunch that they will win it. I don't think FORE has an OC-48 product ready, which would be pretty important. Or even if they did, FORE is a small company and the instability might make Level 3 think twice about them. They will also have QWEST and AT&T as competition, and if FORE's product can't deliver the same feature-set as Ascend's switches, it could put Level 3 at a disadvantage. I therefore don't think they'll go with a lesser switch, even if it's cheaper. Just my opinion. bucky89
