5/1/98-Purchasing managers shows 60% of all respondents believe overall business conditions will improve over the next 60 days, a 10% improvement from last month. More than two-thirds of these companies are reporting an increase in orders this month
Increase in inventory and order volumes for memory.
Two-thirds are building their inventory for memory and almost three-fourths stated a rise in order volume.
Many companies are reporting tight deadlines and increasing orders for products that require memory over the next two months.
