Noticed AMAT's stock talk took a gloomy turn over the early part of the weekend. Reminds me of the MU stock talk M-W before earnings were announced, thay almost made me a short seller and I knew (gut feeling) they wouldn't meet earnings even after revisions down. Glad I canceled that order. I would have been equally rewarded if I had just filled my socks with money and flushed them down the toilet. Although I was tempted to go short again in the near term after their subsequent rise to 34.5. Always the optimist I just couldn't - wanted to reeeaaal bad though. I digress however, the point I'm making is when the talk gets gloomy it makes me feel like putting on my horns and start pawing the ground. Especially with excellent comps. like TNCR and AMAT. I'm also relieved to hear TNCR won't be participating in the series of dissapointing announcements; digital,alliance,cirrus,LSI et al. Glad to hear back from you JPM, just wondering if we might see a little drop in the first of the week to the low 16's. It looks like ATML will jump into the high 20's. Still holding TNCR for my retirement, but "playing" on the side until we see continued support. I think TNCR "wants to change" we just need positive news to keep some wind behind the sails. Looking for it from several companies in April. IOMG = MU for the late 90's?
