Some do actually try to support the price for a while. I would pose that the situation is actually quite the reverse from what you suggested-- companies seeking capital will not use the investment bankers that can't help support the stock price after a secondary. There's ALWAYS an investment banking source willing to do a secondary.... regards, greg
