Good Morning,

This is more or less my fisrt SEBL post. I have been a SEBL shareholder since before they went public and know Tom personally on a professional basis and have since his days at Oracle.

Back when Tom wrote his bus. plan for SEBL which I believe was 92 or 93, he planned on releasing v1 on 4/94, they did. He also told me he would use PSFT has his model, he has. His business plan from the very begining was to dominate the market before the big boys jumped in, they have. The SCOP deal is not a merger it is an aquisition, they bought the co. for a number of reasons, 1) R&D, they have aquired a whole staff of programmers who know the field, how much do you think it would cost to hire and train the same talent, alot. 2) They aquire a seasoned sales force ALREADY up tp speed on the sector, see the previous. 3) They stop a competitor from getting a foot hold on the sector by removing SCOP from play, brilliant strategy.

For all you people trying to figure out whether the sw can or cannot be intagrated or whether the corporate culture will mesh do not see the bigger picture. The dominant player in the field just got bigger and more powerful. SEBL has secured their position a the leader in the SFA/CIS segment. Vantive knows this or they wouldn't be so worried about SEBL's every move.

Here's a big difference in mindset, while Loungo is worrying about SEBL, SEBL is trying to gain maketstay ahead of the big ERP players.

Two more points
1) Acquisitions were part of SEBL's business plan, they are executing their strategy perfectly.

2) Tom hasn't missed a quarter in something like 13 years.
