First of all, relative to my being literate. Each of us are unique and each of us have a different structuring of needs and skills. Being a songwriter and a poet, words are easier for me than they are for others.
I think, Verdad, what you are seeing is that people are describing their feelings. How they express them probably relates to the pain they have felt throughout this whole ordeal.
You've got to remember, at present, virtually all of us have lost money, some more than others. Carrying the baggage of mammoth TRGC losses has resulted in many margin calls for a lot of folks. And each time you get called, you get madder and madder. I've had three of 'em already. I'm not a rich person, and these calls are not easy to cover.
But I want to believe in the Colombian operation. We all do. That there has been a tremendous downside, because of the confusion--remember, we didn't create it--it's therefore quite apparent that a lot of people are upset. They are angry.
In anger sometimes things are said that are, to say the least, unkind. When you know you've got people who are really upset, one should be ready to hear just about anything from them.
Regarding my lack of a grasp of the facts? I couldn't agree with you more. If you could provide me something substantive that I can believe in, I assure you, my words will find a way to ring out the truth.
But until I have something that fits the facts in order to guide my thinking, I--like most everyone else in this mess--have only my thoughts and my feelings (including disappointments). But then, of course, I have my hopes.
Would love to hear more from you. You seem to be close at heart and have very strong feelings regarding the whole matter. If Sid is not describing himself or his position correctly, perhaps I can help him.
