Is there now a crowded group of takeover candidates?

With the loss of so much equity value at STBI, are they now a candidate for takeover, too? They have approximately the same number of outstanding shares as NINE, although three times the cap. While they don't produce their own graphics processor, STBI is an extremely innovative company in most all areas rooted in visual media. Has NINE missed an opportunity due to STBI's new low value?

Also, I have noticed over the last few years how NINE moves in-step with DIMD's share price (more or less). NINE's cap has remained stable over the past thirty days as STBI has sunk dramatically. DIMD has shown similar profit/loss cycles to NINE, which probably explains the synchronous movement. However, lately DIMD's rebounding eps is widening the spread between these two stocks.

Any comments?
