I would like to get more info about relative value within the sector but if not here, where ?
Where the numbers are concerned, it's easy enough to run an industry scan on Telescan's ProSearch. You can rank the companies by whatever FA criteria you choose -- peg ratio, sales increase/decrease, eps changes (quarterly, yearly, etc.),valuation ratios, etc., etc. You can also rank them according to TA criteria, if that's your thing. If you don't have an account with Telescan, I will be happy to run a search using whatever criteria interest you.
What these searches can NOT do, of course, is measure the all-important "intangibles" -- management style, competitive position, etc., etc. That's what this thread can do for us (at least, for those of us who are not involved professionally with the sector).
On your point about NR. I, too, posted a question some weeks ago about another overlooked company - Core (CRLBF). What intrigued me was that CRBLF had pretty much escaped the industry-wide downturn after last October/November. In fact, it had gotten back to its November high as early as mid-February. (It's still going strong.) I did get a response informing me that CRLBF was a favorite of John Dessauer and of Lous Navallier, and that its business in China is expected to do very well. But I still don't know why it escaped the carnage: is there something about the nature of its business that makes it relatively invulnerable? So I'll repeat the question!
