Look Jerry, if I was in the market for a PC right now, I'd
be itching to buy a PPro/200... I'm not gonna scrimp
and save a few hundred bucks to get myself a
system that's one generation behind from Cyrix, or
two generations behind from AMD. And I'm definitely
not going to pay a price premium for a Mac so that
I can run crash-prone, non-preemptive multitasking
junk like System 7.5. And when Office 97 comes out,
that means that Mac suite software will be an
incredible two generations behind. Yikes!

Give me six months, and my upgrade system will
be a Klamath. Give me two years, and it'll be a
Merced.

Intel's a cyclical? You mean like a Ford or GM? Okay
fine. But take a look at all those legacy UNIX junk
servers that will be quickly replaced by NT. It's like
looking out on the road, and everybody's driving a
'67 Chevy.

And I don't believe you can taste the difference between
Coke and Pepsi anyway.
