Mylan Receives Approval on ClomipramineHydrochloride Capsules May 1, 1998 02:27 PM PITTSBURGH--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 1, 1998--Mylan Laboratories Inc. MYL announced today that it has received an approval from the Food and Drug Administration to manufacture and market Clomipramine Hydrochloride Capsules in 25mg, 50mg and 75mg strengths. This trycyclic antidepressant is the generic equivalent of Novartis Pharmaceuticals' Anafranil(R). The product will be produced at Mylan's manufacturing facility in Morgantown, West Virginia. Shipment will begin shortly.
