Bob, thanks for your work on the ASCII conversions. I've stayed with the MS format conversion and use Winbatch for the automation side. I'm intrigued by your apparent facility with batch files to assist the automation process. I also have piqued interest to compare ASCII vs MS conversion speeds. Then, the next question is scanning speed in WOW. Andy/Robert/Cosmo may still be having trouble with the ASCII conversions, haven't heard from him lately. Derek
