The search capability in Microsoft's 1997 products is free - I would imagine Wall Street is significantly slicing the potential revenues Verity can generate because of this.

At the same time, Verity has not made any significant announcements about new products or partnerships. No news becomes bad news when the competition is aggressive.

Last, I think you are seeing a strong flight to quality earnings in the tech space - we are in a bull market which many analysts feel is tired and overextended - that is when valuation becomes a big concern.

Just my thoughts.
