You would have to contact the Ontario Securities Commission. I did a quick search to see if they have a web site and came up with nothing. Check with your broker for a contact number and if that fails I think they're based in Toronto if you're inclined to call information for the number.

There is no problem buying Canadian stocks on this side of the border. If anyone else is having the problems that Chuck and Richard are then I recommend setting up a US account with a Canadian Brokerage. No B.S. or MM to deal with that way.
