This just in from my Telescan service:

INVESTOR ALERT: ALARMING SITUATION IN LARGE CAP MARKETS
As we discussed in last week's letter to you ("Flirting with Drunken Bulls," by Paul Lam), Telescan's market analysts believe that the S&P 500 is poised for a 30-35% decline, possibly more, near term. Despite Monday's sharp selloff, the situation still exists.

On April 16, Telescan's proprietary Company Growth Ratio (CGR) for the S&P 500 was 0.7 - the lowest reading we have EVER measured! The CGR measures the amount one must pay for a given level of growth in a stock. It compares a company's annualized five-year projected EPS growth rate to its projected Price to Earnings Ratio for the next fiscal year. In effect, it discounts estimated growth.
