I think you give him too much credit. What I think is going on is that he has (as well as tons of other shortcomings) no understanding that others could be experiencing anything differently than him. In other words, if his thing is working, how can others' not be?
Perhaps he doesn't yet understand the vaguaries of internet bandwith, packet errors, analog systems, and the like. Not to mention Datek anomalies. To him, if he's not having too many problems, then no one can be.
As with our charter member Myron, these things are lost on them, so it's best to leave them alone in their own little world, thinking down on all who disagree with them, so they may feel more important than they are.
Just gives us here, more material to work with, which is a nice respite from the fast paced world of trading. And a nice way to laugh at ourselves, as well, something, unfortunately, they aren't able to do either.
